Hello, We're The Edlings!

We are Brenda and Rob Edling, a dedicated real estate team with a passion for helping clients find their perfect home in Southwest Florida. Originally from small-town Indiana and Northern Virginia, we combined our entrepreneurial experience from owning a successful carpet cleaning and restoration business for 18 years with our love for palm trees and the beach. After relocating to this beautiful area, we discovered our calling in real estate. We are committed to making the buying or selling process seamless and sharing the joy of the Florida lifestyle with every client we serve.

Brenda Edling

was born and raised in a small town in Indiana called Claypool. I met my husband, Rob, while attending college. Rob and I have three children and four grandchildren. I have always loved horses, so we owned five at one time, which was not a fun job in the wintertime! We were avid campers and lived in our RV from April until October.

Rob and I started a carpet cleaning and restoration business that we owned for 18 years. I ran the office portion and managed our employees, while Rob handled the day-to-day operations. After closing our business, we wanted to move to a warmer climate,

and since I am a sucker for palm trees and the beach we ended up in SW Florida. After living here for 1.5 years, I entered real estate. Rob worked as a car salesman and finally joined me in the real estate business. We love it here, and I can’t imagine

living anywhere else.

Rob Edling

I was born and raised in northern Va, and lived there until I met my beautiful wife Brenda in 2002 and moved to Claypool Indiana where she is from. Talk about a culture shock, going from the nation’s capital area to a very small town in Indiana where the

closest store was 15 miles away. I didn’t know a soul, only my lovely bride.

When I was in college studying computers in Manassas Va I worked as a carpet cleaner. After moving to Indiana there was not much work for a computer programmer, so Brenda and I decided to start our own carpet cleaning company. Our families thought

we had lost our minds, but with a lot of hard work we became the number one cleaning and restoration company in Kosciusko County. During our time in Indiana, I was asked to run for the Township Trustee position in our town, so I put my name on the ballot and won!

So, I served as Trustee 4 years then moved to the next town over. When Covid hit it was a death nail for our company, so we

shut it down and decided to move to Florida. After a 2.5-year stint as a car salesman I decided to join my Bride in the real estate business. We both love Florida and can’t imagine living anywhere else. We have 3 children who all live out of state and 4 beautiful granddaughters.
